什么是 “Wonder If” 和 “Wonder Whether”？

在英语中，“I wonder if…” 和 “I wonder whether…” 都用于表达对某事的疑问、好奇或不确定性。 它们常出现在口语和书面语中，是体现礼貌、委婉或思考的重要句型。

if 与 whether 的区别

虽然两者在多数情况下可互换，但存在细微差别：

• whether 更正式，适合书面语；if 更口语化。
• 当后接 or not 时，通常用 whether：

  ❌ I wonder if or not he knows the truth.（不自然）
• 在介词后或动词不定式前，只能用 whether：
  ✅ It depends on whether she agrees.
  ✅ She can’t decide whether to go.
